About Us
Megan (left) and Kristi launched the Blogger Black Book at BlogHer in July, 2009. Proving how important bloggers are to marketing, Wal-Mart flew Paula Deen in for the day.
We may not have met face-to-face, but you know us. We’re parents, just like you. And we’re online.
We blog, we post, we upload, we write wall-to-wall and we tweet. And, in our case, we also specialize in public relations and help companies talk to the media and other important audiences.
We’ve found ourselves at the convergence of these two key groups: bloggers and the advertisers and marketers who are beginning to notice them. And we want to help those two groups talk to one another. And, limit the back talk.
While some of us are using blogs to keep faraway relatives up-to-date on our kids and their activities, others use them as vehicles for sharing advice and knowledge. As a group, we’ve ventured into product reviews and recommendations, contests, viral campaigns and fundraising efforts – and have even caused the coining of the phrase “word-of-mom” to describe the influence we have online.
That’s why we’ve created Blogger Black Book.
